Dr Yvonne Chan is an Associate Professor, the Vice Chair of Education and Continuing Professional Development Director in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. She is the Otolaryngologist-in-chief at St. Michael’s Hospital. She finished her Otolaryngology residency at the University of Toronto and completed a Rhinology fellowship at the with Dr. Fred Kuhn in Georgia as well as an advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery fellowship with Professors PJ Wormald and Alkis Psaltis in Australia. Since 2015, she has been the co-editor of the world-renowned Otolaryngology textbook, K. J. Lee’s Essential Otolaryngology now in its 12th edition. Other texts that she has co-edited include: Rhinology and Allergy: Clinical Reference Guide and Essential Paths to Life After Residency. Her research interests include clinical rhinology, medical education, and EDI (Equity Diversity Inclusion).
